In 2017 we were commissioned to design and construct a full remodeling to an 18th Century Cottage in Alderley Edge.

The project encompassed the

introduction of visual depth to the facade using Oak canopy and porch structures together with hand carved stone window lintels and sills. Internally the property was stripped back in order to form a fresh contemporary modern feel which included oak  flooring, internal doors, sills and handrails.

UBER Modern Kitchen

New Build

We have completed many kitchen installations over the years, each individually tailored to the users needs.

In 2015 we were asked to tender for the design and installation of a bespoke kitchen within a new property in Lymm. The current kitchen was predictable, functional but certainly not inspriring. We presented  several options and the chosen  design remains our favourite. Uber modern, featuring hand painted - high gloss finishes in titanium, pearl white and orange to the doors.

Worktops are 20mm white Quartz with a feature stainless steel recess below. Details stretched to bespoke grey carcass coloiring, colour coded drawer inserts and a coloured glass upstand.

Appliances specified were Siemens for the steam oven and combination microwave, 6 zone induction hob and downdraft hood. Liebherr for the huge fridge freezer and  wine cooler and Fisher & Paykel for the dishwasher.

Lighting was also a key feature, with alternative LED lighting zones to set the mood. The result is a state of the art modern kitchen that also functions superbly.

In 2016 we were commissioned to design and construct a secondary suspended mezzanine  floor within an existing barn conversion.

The project required the design and installation of a bespoke suspended steel framework to create the new living space.

Existing structural timbers and stonework formed and integral component of the design with the new staircase slotting in seamlessly. In addition to the new loft space, we reconfigured the first floor to include a master bedroom with large ensuite complete with solar operated Velux windows and a smaller bedroom.

Originally a modest 2 bedroomed workers cottage built in 1895, our brief was to sympathetically extend to add two further bedrooms, an open plan lounge area, utility room and bathroom. Character was key to the success of this project, Old English Bond using Cheshire Bricks blends perfectly with the existing.

Internally a traditional kitchen and bathroom were installed, feature staircase, reclaimed 4 panelled doors and hand made fireplaces all combine to achieve this look. The extension more than doubled the living space whilst retaining a seamless character and charm. A beautiful spacious family home.

In 2015 we were asked to design, manage and construct a complete renovation to a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment situated in Manchester. The brief was to infuse 50’s retro chic with modern fixtures and fittings.

We created a mezzanine floor which realised a valuable third bedroom and ensuite showerroom. The new floor is accessed via a radical birch block staircase, protected by infinity glass and stainless steel balustrading. A retro kitchen, new bathroom and new  joinery throughout together with floor finishes and decoration completes the look.

The conversion is truly stunning.

In 2014 we were commissioned to design and construct a comprehensive schedule of extension and conversion to this imposing Edwardian Villa. Work included a rear sunroom extension, two storey side extension housing a downstairs WC and first floor shower room. A full loft conversion with triple winding staircase, new main bathroom and  conversion of an existing outhouse to utility space.

The final touch involved reinstatement of a bespoke timber porch canopy and hardwood door/frame - complete with original leaded stained glass.
